BRIEF:

Our clients wanted their house to feel like a boutique hotel, serenity and relaxation was the goal. When approaching this project we were inspired by the traditional Mexican patio, we envisioned connecting all spaces of the house through a series of courtyards. A nod to Oaxaca is found in the use of locally sourced materials such as Cantera Verde and Chukum. A project as modern Mexican as it gets. The design embodies the essence of modern Mexican architecture, characterized by its minimalist aesthetic, integration with nature, and use of local materials. This serene space in Oaxaca, Mexico, serves as a beautiful example of how contemporary design can honor and enhance the natural beauty and cultural heritage of its location
